Dr Charlotte graduated from the University of Queensland in 2007 with first class Honors. After graduation she moved to Melbourne to work at a General Practice/Specialist/Emergency clinic in the Northern Suburbs for five years.

She then spent time volunteering in India with the Vets Beyond Borders Rabies Vaccination & Neutering program, before locuming for a few years in the freezing UK & Ireland. Realising it was too cold & dark in the northern hemisphere she moved back to the beautiful Gold Coast and hasn’t looked back since.

In her spare time she can be found attempting to surf or “relaxing” with her Family of six, her Jack Russell ‘Amelia’, Chihuahua ‘Juan Carlos’ and her cats ‘George’ & ‘Pierre’.

Tess comes to us with over 11 years of Veterinary Nursing experience working throughout the industry in GP, emergency, management, marketing and social media.

She has covered everything from general practice and emergency nursing to working overseas. Her last stint found her vet nursing in a tiny clinic in the heart of Notting Hill, London.

Tess loves veterinary dentistry, brachycephalic breeds, (known for their adorable squishy faces), as well as sighthounds. Outside of her vet clinic life, Tess is usually spending time with her two Boston Terriers, "Daphne" and "Velma."

With over 6 years of experience in both general practice and emergency nursing, Nicola has truly seen it all. During her time at Animal Emergency Services, she worked long night shifts and handled some of the most intense and traumatic cases – always staying calm under pressure and delivering exceptional care.

We’re so lucky to have her knowledge, experience, and steady presence on our team.

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her surfing or spending time with her gorgeous Labrador Arlo – the biggest softy you’ll ever meet. She rescued him as a pup after he was brought into her clinic with a head injury, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. 

Lily is a passionate and experienced vet nurse with over 10 years in the industry. Raised on the Gold Coast, her love for animals started early and has grown into a lifelong dedication to their care. Her gentle nature and wealth of knowledge make her a calming and trusted presence in the clinic.

At home, she shares life with her husband Ike and their two adorable (and slightly mischievous) Cocker Spaniels, Maple and Marvin – who keep things lively and full of love.

Outside of nursing, Lily is also a talented singer-songwriter. She beautifully balances her time between caring for animals and pursuing her creative passion, bringing warmth, empathy, and a unique energy to everything she does. We feel so lucky to have her on our team! 

With years of valuable experience in veterinary medicine, our founder and head vet, Dr. Charlotte Witty, recognized the need for a change in the approach to pet care.

Dr. Witty, together with her Husband Thiago, envisioned a different kind of vet service—one where the clinic feels more like a home and every pet is treated like a celebrity. This vision gave birth to Bay St. Vets, a place where integrity, care, and community converge to offer more than just healthcare; we offer a place to belong.
