Dr. Charlotte Witty

Dr Charlotte graduated from the University of Queensland in 2007 with first class Honors. After graduation she moved to Melbourne to work at a General Practice/Specialist/Emergency clinic in the Northern Suburbs for five years.

She then spent time volunteering in India with the Vets Beyond Borders Rabies Vaccination & Neutering program, before locuming for a few years in the freezing UK & Ireland. Realising it was too cold & dark in the northern hemisphere she moved back to the beautiful Gold Coast and hasn’t looked back since.

In her spare time she can be found attempting to surf or “relaxing” with her Family of six, her Jack Russell ‘Amelia’, Chihuahua ‘Juan Carlos’ and her cats ‘George’ & ‘Pierre’.

Tess Nolan

Tess comes to us with over 11 years of Veterinary Nursing experience working throughout the industry.

She has covered everything from general practice and emergency nursing to working overseas. Her last stint found her vet nursing in a tiny clinic in the heart of Notting Hill, London.

Tess loves veterinary dentistry, brachycephalic breeds, (known for their adorable squishy faces), as well as sighthounds. Outside of her vet clinic life, Tess is usually spending time with her two Boston Terriers, "Daphne" and "Sugar."

Lily Papas

Lily Papas is a dedicated and compassionate vet nurse with over 10 years of experience in the field. Raised on the Gold Coast, Lily's love for animals began at a young age and has grown into a lifelong commitment to their care. She shares her home with her husband Ike and their two adorable Cocker Spaniel’s, Maple and Marvin, bringing joy ( and a little bit of chaos) to her everyday life.

In addition to her work as a vet nurse, Lily is also a talented singer-songwriter. She seamlessly splits her time between her duties at the clinic and pursuing her passion for music. Her dual talents allow her to connect with clients and their pets on a unique level, offering a soothing presence to both animals and their owners.

Lily's warm and friendly demeanor, combined with her exceptional nursing skills, make her a cherished member of our team. Whether she's caring for your furry family member or entertaining with her music, Lily's dedication and love for her work shine through in everything she does.

From Experience to Innovation
The Journey of Dr. Charlotte Witty

With years of valuable experience in veterinary medicine, our founder and head vet, Dr. Charlotte Witty, recognized the need for a change in the approach to pet care.

Dr. Witty, together with her Husband Thiago, envisioned a different kind of vet service—one where the clinic feels more like a home and every pet is treated like a celebrity. This vision gave birth to Bay St. Vets, a place where integrity, care, and community converge to offer more than just healthcare; we offer a place to belong.

We are setting new standards for what veterinary care should be.

Crafting joyful journeys for pets and their people.
